I love health and fitness, it is something that has always interested me.  I love watching documentaries, reading books, magazines, and other blogs about fitness and healthy dietary tips.  I played sports throughout High School and College and then moved with my husband and when I started working I stopped working out like I had used to.  This led to gaining 25lbs and then I had my daughter which added on another 80ish pounds!  I have been on a mission to get my body to a healthy and fit weight.  I had a goal of running a half marathon but was always terrified!  This year I have accomplished a lot, tried hot yoga (thanks emily!) which I am now obsessed with! Ran my first half-marathon in Philly with my sister and some of my best friends, and lost a total of 90lbs since the birth of my daughter.  MyFitnessPal and MapMyRun have helped me every single day and they are amazing and free!  Changed for good to a Pescitarian and haven’t looked back.  I am finally determined and focused and I feel so much better!  I still have a ways to go and my goals are constantly changing which is important to not get stuck in a rut which I have done too many times to count!  I am excited for the next year and new adventures in fitness!
