#Classic…

If you know me then you know I love a good business casual outfit, I have been rocking them since high school haha!  Any excuse to wear a skirt or dress pant I am all over, and what better reason than a graduation ceremony!

Eric graduated from his Army school that he has been training for over the past 18 months!  This is the entire reason we moved to North Carolina and I couldn’t be more proud of how hard he has worked learning another language and all of the physical challenges that he has trained for!  We are so proud of you and so happy that you are finished!!

I love this outfit because it is a summer twist on a classic pencil skirt and white blouse.  All of these items can be worn a million different ways and dressed up or dressed down which is why I love buying easy basics!

I got it on sale in the B.P. department of Nordys and it has held up perfectly!  This skirt is a great twist on a classic with really pretty eyelet details embroidered all over the skirt.  I think that it would look great with any color top or tank and even a long-sleeved shirt to transition into the cooler months!IMG_9439 IMG_9447We found some beautiful streets and gorgeous architecture in downtown Fayetteville after we took Eric out to eat to celebrate his graduation!  I had no idea how beautiful this part of town was!!  As always thanks to mom for taking the best pictures love you!!

#OOTD

Just a quick post about this outfit I wore to my sisters graduation because it is filled with great basics that can transition from season to season and can be dressed up or down.  I am in love with this shirt and have it in hot pink as well, they are by the brand Frenchi which can be found in the BP section of Nordstrom.  I love how they look more dressed up than a normal cotton T, but are super comfy and can be worn tucked in or out depending on your mood!  I have worn the white a ton of times already this summer and am so happy that I found it a couple of months back!

The skirt I am loving because of the color!  It is a beautiful emerald-green that I found at J. Crew on sale for under $20.00!  Even though the color is a bit darker hence why it was on sale, I think it worked perfectly with the white top.  This skirt would also be cute in the fall or winter paired with opaque tights and boots to give it a totally different look.

The wedges are Steven by Steve Madden which I found on Amazon and are extremely comfortable to walk in because there is no platform in the front and they are just a basic neutral that can dress up a skirt but still be worn with a casual outfit like jeans and a t-shirt!

Pink & Navy…

I recently found this skirt from J. Crew and love how easy and comfy it is to wear!  I thought I would share a more dressed up way to wear this skirt, but it will be on repeat for me this summer!  I love it paired with these tan wedges or even with a simple sandal!  The skirt is still on the J. Crew Factory website (along with tons of other adorable summer staples) and comes in other colors too! IMG_7880 IMG_7883 IMG_7893 IMG_7905 IMG_7925 IMG_7939Skirt |J. Crew Factory|   Shirt |T.J.
