Green & Gold…

I found this blazer a when I was home for the Holidays and wanted to get some use out of it before March so that I wasn’t mistaken for a real life leprechaun!  I scored this one on sale but Nordstrom still carries it in some really beautiful colors and I think that you can wear it a ton of different ways.

Run it Out…

I really wanted to share with you guys a few of my fave running pieces that I have been getting a ton of use out of this winter!! Some of the things are super old (aka tech vest via the 9th grade!) and others are still available so I will link some of my current faves!

IMG_2140 One of the best gifts I have received in a while are still my Solo HD head phones that my hubs picked out and surprised me with last Christmas.  I literally use these all the time especially when I am running. I am one of those people who have a freak ear shape and can not for the life of me run with the apple ear buds they literally just jump out of my ear!  So these have been a life-saver, they stay on and they are really comfy and actually make a huge difference in sound quality.  IMG_2144

Vest: Gap| Shoes: Nike| Pants & Head Wrap: Lululemon|Beats| Gloves: Under Armour|

In the winter especially in PA where these pics were taken it gets really cold but I haven’t wanted to stop running because it can be so hard to get back into the routine again so I have just been bundling up and I actually have been loving the cooler weather to workout in!  As I mentioned above this vest came from the depths of my childhood closet at my parents house and my sister tells me it looks like a giant maxi pad haha but it is super warm and perfect for running.  It provides enough warmth without completely restricting your movement when you are running.

IMG_2150Along with a vest gloves are a must when braving the 30 degree temperature and I really love these Under Armour ones that my mom got me for Christmas a few years back.  They have held up great and I just throw them in the washer with the rest of my workout gear.  Target also has great lightweight workout gloves and are one of my husbands fave pairs.
IMG_2155Then there is always Lululemon for workout gear which I really love, but it can be super pricey so I like to obviously shop the sale section and choose key pieces that really stand out like the head wrap or really great basics like the pants that I literally wear all the time!  They wash really nicely, don’t fade, and I just hang them to dry!

So make sure to bundle up and get out there and run it out!

Hey guys!! I hope that everyone had a fabulous Holiday and a great start to the New Year!! I am finally back in action after traveling a lot over the holiday season! I have a ton of pictures to share from our trips, outfits, and some recipes that I have been loving lately!

IMG_2123 First I just wanted to share this outfit I wore when celebrating my brother-in-law over the Holiday’s.  He made a huge move and we are super proud of him and everything he has accomplished in his career so far!  So we all headed down to Philly to celebrate Dan and his big move, so here is what I wore! IMG_2116|Top is From Target| |Pants are H&M| |Shoes are Guess| |Watch is Michael Kors|

Black & Cream…

I was absolutely in love with the scenery at the Castle Hill Resort, if you couldn’t tell by the latest posts 🙂 So I thought I would share an outfit I wore to dinner one night when we were on vacation!

I love this type of look because it is versatile and can go from day to-night.  We didn’t really know what we would be doing all day so this outfit transitioned perfectly.   Just by switching out flip-flops for heels and adding this blazer I scored at Target for under $10.00, I was ready to head to dinner!

If you know me then you know I love a good business casual outfit, I have been rocking them since high school haha!  Any excuse to wear a skirt or dress pant I am all over, and what better reason than a graduation ceremony!

Eric graduated from his Army school that he has been training for over the past 18 months!  This is the entire reason we moved to North Carolina and I couldn’t be more proud of how hard he has worked learning another language and all of the physical challenges that he has trained for!  We are so proud of you and so happy that you are finished!!

I love this outfit because it is a summer twist on a classic pencil skirt and white blouse.  All of these items can be worn a million different ways and dressed up or dressed down which is why I love buying easy basics!

I got it on sale in the B.P. department of Nordys and it has held up perfectly!  This skirt is a great twist on a classic with really pretty eyelet details embroidered all over the skirt.  I think that it would look great with any color top or tank and even a long-sleeved shirt to transition into the cooler months!IMG_9439 IMG_9447We found some beautiful streets and gorgeous architecture in downtown Fayetteville after we took Eric out to eat to celebrate his graduation!  I had no idea how beautiful this part of town was!!  As always thanks to mom for taking the best pictures love you!!

Just a quick post about this outfit I wore to my sisters graduation because it is filled with great basics that can transition from season to season and can be dressed up or down.  I am in love with this shirt and have it in hot pink as well, they are by the brand Frenchi which can be found in the BP section of Nordstrom.  I love how they look more dressed up than a normal cotton T, but are super comfy and can be worn tucked in or out depending on your mood!  I have worn the white a ton of times already this summer and am so happy that I found it a couple of months back!

The skirt I am loving because of the color!  It is a beautiful emerald-green that I found at J. Crew on sale for under $20.00!  Even though the color is a bit darker hence why it was on sale, I think it worked perfectly with the white top.  This skirt would also be cute in the fall or winter paired with opaque tights and boots to give it a totally different look.

The wedges are Steven by Steve Madden which I found on Amazon and are extremely comfortable to walk in because there is no platform in the front and they are just a basic neutral that can dress up a skirt but still be worn with a casual outfit like jeans and a t-shirt!

Pink & Navy…

I recently found this skirt from J. Crew and love how easy and comfy it is to wear!  I thought I would share a more dressed up way to wear this skirt, but it will be on repeat for me this summer!  I love it paired with these tan wedges or even with a simple sandal!  The skirt is still on the J. Crew Factory website (along with tons of other adorable summer staples) and comes in other colors too! IMG_7880 IMG_7883 IMG_7893 IMG_7905 IMG_7925 IMG_7939Skirt |J. Crew Factory|   Shirt |T.J. Seeing Red…

I recently went into Forever21 for the first time in a while and found some really great pieces that were incredibly inexpensive so I thought I would share with you guys as I start to wear them!  I am in love with this red top that I scored for only $7.80! Can you believe it?! I was so excited because it’s a great layering piece that can be worn with jeans, skirts, or even layered with a sweater or blazer!  I don’t really have much red in my closet so I thought it would be a great pop of color!  I checked online and they aren’t available on the website but I highly recommend checking out your local stores!
