Back in Action…

Hey guys!! I hope that everyone had a fabulous Holiday and a great start to the New Year!! I am finally back in action after traveling a lot over the holiday season! I have a ton of pictures to share from our trips, outfits, and some recipes that I have been loving lately!

First I just wanted to share this outfit I wore when celebrating my brother-in-law over the Holiday’s. He made a huge move and we are super proud of him and everything he has accomplished in his career so far! So happy that my sisters could come with us to celebrate it is always so much fun when we all get to spend time together since we all live in different states! I hope that you all got to spend time with your loved ones this Holiday Season!

#Classic…

If you know me then you know I love a good business casual outfit, I have been rocking them since high school haha! Any excuse to wear a skirt or dress pant I am all over, and what better reason than a graduation ceremony!

Eric graduated from his Army school that he has been training for over the past 18 months! This is the entire reason we moved to North Carolina and I couldn’t be more proud of how hard he has worked learning another language and all of the physical challenges that he has trained for! We are so proud of you and so happy that you are finished!!

I love this outfit because it is a summer twist on a classic pencil skirt and white blouse. All of these items can be worn a million different ways and dressed up or dressed down which is why I love buying easy basics!

I got it on sale in the B.P. department of Nordys and it has held up perfectly! This skirt is a great twist on a classic with really pretty eyelet details embroidered all over the skirt. I think that it would look great with any color top or tank and even a long-sleeved shirt to transition into the cooler months! We found some beautiful streets and gorgeous architecture in downtown Fayetteville after we took Eric out to eat to celebrate his graduation! I had no idea how beautiful this part of town was!! Red & Cream…

I was super excited to find these shorts at Forever21 because I loved the color and don’t have anything else like them in my closet! Another reason I was happy to find them was the price point was great and they actually fit my legs! I usually have the hardest time finding shorts that fit right and are not uncomfortable. I hate when they are skin tight on my thigh it drives me crazy, so I usually always opt for sundresses and skirts in the summer. These shorts came in red and blue unfortunately they only had the red in my size or I would have bought both but I was happy to score at least one pair!

I also picked up this cream shirt at Forever21 and they usually have a bunch of these dressy looking long sleeved tops that pair great with jeans, skirts, and shorts. I decide to dress the shorts and top up here by adding a nude heel that I am obsessed with and the black pair are currently on sale at zara.com for $25.00! I have also worn these shorts with flats and a white short-sleeved shirt for a more causal look and I really like how versatile they are!
